Ok, the droid has never been dropped in water or on the ground. it wont power on at all….no screen no keys…nothing. When i plug in the charger a little white LED comes on and thats it, nothing on the screen or anything….im worried, i dont have the money to get a new one and i dont have insurance on it. can someone tell me what this is?

If you are beyond the first 30 days of your contract, you are probably going to end up having to buy a new phone.
Is there any chance that it was used in humid weather or someone sweated on it? You don’t have to get a Moto Droid any wetter than that for it to go nuts. (That’s why I am now on my 4th Droid.)
If you think this may have been the problem, pull the battery and put the Droid in a bag of plain, uncooked rice. Seal the bag. This may suck moisture out of your Droid. If that doesn’t work, you have to pray that you get a very sweet person at verizon when you go in.
Next time, get the insurance! These smartphones are so sensitive, it’s definitely worth it!
