I currently have the EnV Touch and want to get the Lg Ally. But i want to know how they stack up against each other: mainly the cameras, speakers, keyboards, screen and battery life. I’m really wanting the ally because android is amazing and i would love to have the freedom of customization it offers.

definitely the lg ally. The enV touch has a “known issue” of turning on and off by itself and the front touch screen goes out often. The enV touch has a 3.2 mp camera with flash and the ally has a 3.0 cameral w/ LED flash. Honestly i think the ally takes better pictures and videos. speaker will probably sound the same. the keyboard on the enV is spaced out well but flat keys while the Ally’s keys are closer together but have a nice texture to them. the screens are the same resolution. enV is 3 inches and the Ally is 3.2 inches. battery life will probably be better on the enV touch unless you know what your doing with the Ally and know how to kill the processes you aren’t using etc.
but just the overall difference in the types of phone…the apps you can download and the customization of the phone. its just such a better choice if your wanting any kind of entertainment on your cell phone.
FYI
LG EnV Touch requires a 9.99 data plan now.
LG Ally requires a 29.99 data plan
EDIT: the answer above is condescending…the original motorola droid is much older than the Ally and yes the ally will be upgraded to FROYO (2.2)
IMO you should get the droid incredible ($69 on wirefly right now) or the original droid (free +$30 credit on wirefly right now if you want a model with a keyboard) rather than getting the ally if you are basing your decision on price. The ally is an older android model and it will most likely not be upgraded to android 2.2, where the incredible has very nice internals and the droid, while old, is still speedy. Both of these phones have already been upgraded to 2.2.
To the post below me, the droid may be older, but it is faster. Also, it does not have LG’s horrible crapware on it. I stand corrected on 2.2.
