10 points to the one who answers all my questions giving satisfactory answers. I am new to the android. . . . .any help will be highly appreciated. . . .Please dont put links to other sites. . .
1.What features will be unlocked immediately after rooting my android phone , i mean without adding anything extra from my pc will there be something new in the device or do i have to put stuff in it which was not possible befire rooting
2.What are the advantages of rooting ?
3.What are custom roms ? Are they similar to themes in nokia phones ? Do they just change the way the phone looks ?
4.We can overclock our device after rooting.. . .Is it true ? Is it harmful ? Is it possible to revert it back to its original self after overclocking ?
5.I have read somewhere that wildfire s can be overclocked to 900 mhz. . . .is it true ? Will i be able to play latest hd games on it after overlocking ?
6.Is it possible to upgrade the android os after rooting ?
7..Can wildfire s be upgraded with android 2.3.5 ? is the phone ok for long term use ?

1. You’ll have full control over your phone. You can remove all the Inbuilt phone app’s using Custom ROM and you get full access to all the settings in your phone. In Android 2.1,you can’t save the app’s in memory card. But if you root your phone,you can save it. Also in some mobiles,Live wallpapers won’t be available. It can be made availabe after rooting your phone.

3. Custom ROM’s is one application,which gives the list of all the app’s(including System app’s) to you. Some unworthy app’s that come with the phone(say the calender clock n samsung phone) can be removed with the help of it. Nokia’s Custom Rom Sucks ! and so does nokia
4. YES you can overclock..its not harmful,but you can do it only to a certain extent..if u go over that,your phone will restart. If you over clock ur phone,the battery gets drained off soon.
5. Your phone should have the 3D rendering,and your screen must match up with the resolution of the HD game..then you can play the HD games even without overclocking it
6. YOU SHOULD NOT UPGRADE YOUR ANDROID WHILE YOUR PHONE IS IN ROOTED STATE !! You shd unroot your phone,and then only upgrade. And also upgrading the OS is no way related to rooting !!
7. NO wildfire cannot be upgraded !! Phone is ok for 2-3 yrs of use…after tat yu’ll become jealous of other upcoming phone’s in the market,and u’ll surely throw this phone off !!
